Bible Study Helper is an informational and educational resource created solely for spiritual enrichment and personal study. It is not designed to replace the guidance of a qualified professional, nor is it a substitute for counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial planning, or pastoral leadership.
Using this site does not create a therapist-client, attorney-client, doctor-patient, or pastor-parishioner relationship. Responses generated by the site — including those written in a “Counselor” or similar style — are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for making decisions regarding health, finances, legal matters, or relationships. Always seek the advice of qualified professionals for such matters.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, are in crisis, or require urgent assistance, please contact emergency services or a licensed professional in your area immediately. This website is not monitored for emergency communications.
Bible Study Helper and its owners, developers, partners, and contributors disclaim all responsibility for any decisions, actions, or consequences that result from using this website or any information it provides. All content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. By using this site, you agree that you do so at your own risk and accept that we are not liable for any damages, losses, or outcomes related to your use of this service.
This site is not intended for use in jurisdictions where its operation or content would violate local laws. Users are responsible for ensuring that accessing Bible Study Helper is lawful in their location.
By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.
We practice data minimization: we collect only what we need to operate and improve the service and to understand engagement, and we intentionally avoid information that could identify an individual seeker.
We do not collect names, email addresses (unless you choose to email us), phone numbers, account credentials, street addresses, precise GPS coordinates, or advertising/cross-site tracking identifiers, and we do not store your IP address in our own databases. We do not run advertising on this site or use advertising trackers.
A note on the questions you submit: question text may contain whatever you choose to include. Because questions about faith can be sensitive, we deliberately keep them detached from any identifiable person and stored at the cohort level only. Please avoid including personal details (such as your name, location, or contact information) you do not wish to have recorded.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not run ads on this site.
For users in the EEA, our legal basis is legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the service, analyzing usage trends, and complying with applicable laws. In some cases, processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
We do not and will not sell personal data as defined by the CCPA, and we do not re-identify, or attempt to re-identify, the people behind the data we hold.
The rotating analytics identifier expires and rotates approximately every 12 months. Question–answer pairs and aggregated/cohort-level data may be retained for research, analysis, and product improvement, but are kept detached from any identifiable person. Data is stored on secure servers (in the United States and/or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate) under appropriate security measures and contractual safeguards.
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export data. Because we collect coarse, cohort-level data and do not hold identifiers such as your name, email, IP address, or precise location, we are generally unable to link stored data back to a specific individual, which may limit how these rights apply. You may contact us anytime regarding data concerns.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. However, no internet service is 100% secure; you use this site at your own risk.
This site is not directed toward children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us immediately.
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using this site, you consent to such transfers in compliance with applicable laws.
We may update these Terms and this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
