Grace is a beautiful gift from God. It means receiving something good that we do not deserve. In the Bible, grace often refers to the kindness and love God shows us, even though we are sinners. Romans 3:23-24 tells us, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."
We all have sinned and deserve God’s judgment, but in His great love, God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. This is grace! It’s God reaching out to us, offering forgiveness and new life through Jesus. It’s not something we can earn by trying to be good. It’s all because of God’s mercy and love.
By trusting in Jesus, we receive this grace. It changes us from the inside, leading us to love God and others. Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us, "For by grace have you been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no man should glory."
So, grace is the wonderful gift of God’s love and forgiveness, freely given to us in Jesus. Let us receive—and rejoice in—His amazing grace!
