Yes, God hears your prayers. He is always attentive to the cries of His children. Psalm 34:15 assures us, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” God is like a loving Father who delights to listen to His children. He is never too busy or distant to care about your concerns.
However, the heart with which we approach God matters. James 4:3 reminds us that asking with the wrong motives can hinder our prayers: “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend it in your pleasures.” Therefore, coming to God with honesty, humility, and a desire for His will is important.
Remember, even if the answer to our prayers does not come in the way we expect, God’s wisdom is perfect. He knows what is ultimately best for us. Romans 8:28 assures us that “all things work together for good to them that love God.” Trust that God’s timing and methods are for your best, even when it’s hard to see it.
So, approach Him with confidence, knowing He is near and listening. Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you deeply. Jesus Christ, our Lord, is your advocate and friend.
