Fear is something we all face, but the Bible offers powerful words of hope and peace. God tells us not to be afraid because He is with us. In Isaiah 41:10, we find God’s promise: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This means we have nothing to fear because God is with us, guiding and supporting us.
The Bible also encourages us to replace fear with trust in God. Psalm 56:3 says, "When I am afraid, I will trust in you." This trust is possible because Jesus, our Savior, has all power and authority. He even overcame death, giving us reason to hope and not be ruled by fear.
Perfect love, found in Jesus, is the answer to fear. 1 John 4:18 tells us, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear." When we know Jesus loves us completely, the grip of fear lessens because He is greater than anything we face.
So, take heart! Jesus invites you to come to Him, confess your fears, and trust in His perfect love and strength. He is our safe place in the storms of life, and with Him, we need not be afraid.
