Will God forgive my sins?

Answers from the Bible, in your language.

Yes, God will forgive your sins if you come to Him in true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us of God’s incredible love and mercy. In 1 John 1:9, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This means that no matter what you've done, if you are sincerely sorry and turn to God, He will forgive you.

God’s forgiveness is a gift because of Jesus. Jesus, God’s own Son, came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. He rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death. Through His sacrifice, all who believe in Him are forgiven and given new life.

To receive this forgiveness, come to Jesus with a humble heart, admitting your wrongs, and trusting Him as your Savior and Lord. He promises to wash away your sins, making you clean before God. Embrace this grace with faith, and follow Him with your life. Jesus Himself invites us, saying in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
